Please let me know if a 98 YZ400 front and rear wheel is the same as the 2001 YZ426 . Or will they fit the 01 426 :)

If I remember right, they made the axle a little bigger on the 00 426, but I'm not certain.

You might also try one of the microfiche websites and compare part numbers. Off the top of my head, I also seem to remember a larger and stronger axle on subsequent models. Some of the early models had weak rear wheels/hubs.
