Your opportunity to help prevent a permanent ban on snowmobile recreation
in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks will soon be coming to a
close. The comment period for the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact
Statement (DSEIS) will end on May 29, 2002.

It is important not to miss this hard fought opportunity to voice your
opinion about snowmobile recreation in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National
Parks. The outcome of this comment period will affect not only the future
of snowmobile recreation but will serve as a model for how other management
plans are implemented on public lands and waterways.

I joined as well, and sent a letter to keep them from banning snowmobiles in Yellowstone. Thanks for the advice. I've been looking for an organization like this for a while now.
