Air/Fuel mixture

Looking up at the bottom of the carb, which direction richens the mixture? Clockwise or counter-clockwise?

When it get tight, that would be all the way lean. When it falls out that would be all the way rich.

Anyone correct me if I wrong.

Counter clock-wise lets more fuel in thus richening the mixture.
