Feedback on moriwaki

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any feedback on moriwaki system? I'm getting ready to spend the money but want to know that it is for a good product. Eye candy is important but performance is more important. Down low to mid is most important. Already uncorked with stock baffle moded to be longer like hrc, 13t sproket and thinkin on gettin edlebrach carb.

go buy it right now! but really, in all honesty, this was the best fit and finish product i put on my bike. the welds are works of art. mine's setup as a motard with a tm40 carb and holes in the airbox. the pipe is actually quieter than the stock exhaust with the drilled out tip. it gave the bike more power everywhere. just make sure you jet to suit as just putting the pipe on will lean the bike some. money well spent in my opinion. good luck!-jeff ?

If your thinking about the Edelbrock go ahead and get it. You won't regret it. I like the Moriwaki pipe also but I keep hearing how good the stock pipe is. I'm sure the Moriwaki would be lighter but I'm not concerned with weight. If it helped power everywhere then it would be worth it. I'm a little concerened about the how loud it is also. Let us know if you get one.

if this helps in comparison-my friend's drz400 w/ a full yosh system is by far louder than my xr. putting the spark arrestor back in the moriwaki does quiet it down a hair, but chokes it up a little as well.
