2012 crf450r bog

But mines fuel injected

The motor has to be WARMED UP before you do a quick wide open throttle. NEVER 'whack' the throttle on a cold motor.

The motor has to be 'set' to the current ambient temp by doing the passive TPS reset (start the motor not touching the throttle, let it idle not touching the throttle, and wait till the left radiator is very hot, then shut off the bike. This resets the TPS for your surrounding conditions)

The fuel pump filter on the pump needs to be cleaned and/or replaced

The injector needs pressure cleaning

I've got the same problem, Honda said new jets so I'm waiting on my carb back now.. Mines just an 04 but I've got the exact same issue. Backfired before but new gas and new plug fixed everything but the bog when I got on the throttle

Jets have nothing to do with it.

Jetting requirements do not change out of nowhere

You need to rebuild you accelerator pump system

No need to change jetting/mapping due to poor running.

There is no senario where jetting requirements change for no reason.

I guess the way I pictured this it sounded like it was simply flaming out. But one scenario was my 02 cr250 ran like crap after I changed my top end but it could have been the wiseco to the vertex but the top end I took out wasn't wore one bit.

Hey krannie so I heard from some people I should look at my tps as to why it's doing this?? Apparently turning it changes the voltage being sent to it do you know if this is true does it fix it??

The Throttle position sensor tells the ecu which map to be in. That's all it does.

If it's bad, it will get stuck on one map, or create an error code.

DO NOT mess with it without a factory service manual to follow the calibration steps.

So what do you figure is that normal for a Honda to do this bog or is it a bad tps?? Should I send it in? Seems like a bunch of hondas do this as well

Don't know what you are talking about.

It's your bike, so you have to GET THE SERVICE MANUAL and start figuring it out....or take it to a mechanic.

Have you ever serviced the injector nozzle or pump? Do you filter your gas before putting it in the tank?

Have you been treating the fuel for contamination using Ethanol treatmeats like Stabil-G or Pri-G or Torco?
