RM65/KX65

I picked up a 2002 RM65 for dirt cheap that is in great shape that I want to use as a "mini bike" "pit bike" etc for driving around my property up north just to play around. Fiance will ride this as well again completely just a toy.  Obviously the suspension is not made for my size nor my fiance. What is the most cost effective way to stiffen up the rear shock and front forks for heavier riders? I have read of people swapping rear shock off a sv650 street bike on them, but it all sounded to be for road course/flat track racing them so wasn't sure if that is what I would be looking for.
