Anyone have a 09-12 year kx250f with newer plastics?

Looking to update my bike with newer plastics, i know most of the 2013 plastics fit with little modification. and all of them fit with new air box, seat and a couple brackets for the shrouds. Was wondering if anyone has already done this and wanted to share how they did it. Thanks Rob

Nice Bike man, i like the 09-12 plastic too, but after seeing this bike it's hard to convince myself not to do the conversion. lol

At 2009 model I changed the airbox, gas tank, seat 2013 model, they fit perfectly on 2009 frame.the plastics just bolt on, no need bracket

The 2011 model is not finished, I wait for the 2013 450f gas tank, now the gas tank is the original 2011 250f, and the plastics is fitted with brackets

How did you get the tank to work? Isn't there a big hole in the bottom for the fuel pump?

I made a circular plate from an aluminium plate and drilled mounting holes and a fuel hole to center point.after that procedure I went to an aluminium welding specialist and he welded aluminium tube at center hole. You need the sealing o ring and that's all. Don't need to make circular Al plate you can leave quadrangle just be sure that the size is not too small

I know years late, but here's my 2009 kx250f conversion. Fairly easy after buying a 2015 gas tank, airbox, and a tank plug I found on ebay for a kx250 conversion kit. I really like how it turned out, it was a fun process to see it come together.

The one I ordered from eBay isn't available anymore it was $60 but here's one but it's much pricier
