Anyone dual sporting 2T MX bikes?

Like the title says, is anyone dual sporting any 2T MX bikes here? Any specific issues with doing it? How are you riding it and where? Would you do it again?

I rode a CA plated cr500 for awhile. Only rode it to work (no freeway) and around town to play. Had a desert tank so never really had to worry about mixing gas while on the go, always did it at home. Never got bothered by cops either.

Thinking about building a smaller supermoto to play around on.

Do it! Had an 87 CR500, desert tank, 14/45 sorockets. Rode it all around town, even hi-way, longest hi-way trip like 60 miles.

Recently made a 97 YZ125. Strictly off-road & connecting to trails.

My 2000 was street legal. It was good for about 15 minutes on the street. After that it would be annoying to me.(Vibration and hard seat)

It's expensive. Tires and pistons get used up much faster on the street.

 

It's great if your riding area is close by or if you're just connecting trails.
