Arm guards for trail riding

I second the Leatt hybrid elbow guards, hard plastic and 3do. Elbow and forearm coverage. Also wear Leatt 3do knee guards. Both stayed in place while I crash tested in the trees over the weekend. Both sides, doh!

I use these type older model thor knee guards.. newer model ought to be good too...they give protection above the knee and around too a bit hot and more bulky than the simple little shin knee cap guards but the protection is worth it for me..

 

 

There are a lot of different elbow guards too and you just have to try them on to see how they work for you. I use these and they are alright.. I don't like to make them too tight as i don't want them to contribute to arm pump..

Thanks for the suggestions everybody.  Now I have a better idea of what to look for.  My local dealer has limited inventory so I'll have to find other places where they have more gear to try on.

This has saved me cash for the doctor a few times. Fox Titan Jacket. Mesh body not too hot.

I have the same one....I know for sure this thing has saved me from a couple trips to the hospital.
