93 KX250JE00 engine question

I have a 2000 KAW kx250 with a bad motor, I have a rebuilt 93 kips engine (code#kx250je00), wondering what all I'll need to get this engine in my 2000 frame and get it going!

Will the existing harness work ect, it the kips engine a good motor? Any information will help me out Thanks!!!

The engine will fit but you need to pick an electrical system.  A 93 has a CDI mounted up near the steer tube with separate bullet connectors, the 00 is in the airbox with bulk connectors.  I'd just use the 2000 electrical system so everything mounts to the frame cleanly.  You need the harness, stator (poss flywheel) and CDI.  Also, no TPS or powerjet on 93 carb.

Will the stator outta the 2000 engine fit in the 93 engine? That way the connectors will fit or will I have to splice the 93 stator into the 2000 wiring harness

The stator should fit but use the 2000 flywheel too.
