I recently had to replace my throttle position sensor on my 2014 YZ 450F.  I bought the Yamaha FI diagnostic tool (90890-03182) off eBay and it looks like I need to buy additional wire harness (90890-03212) in order to use it on my bike and also a laptop.  Has anyone dealt with this problem?

Yes and I don't know where you live but I believe you have to be a certified mechanic by Yamaha or a dealer to purchase one.
I found one on eBay as well but it required waiting and searching until one listed.
I do recall seeing a thread about someone trying to make a harness on here at one point. Maybe a search would help.
