neutral switch wr450

Hello, I'm from The Netherlands, Europe,  and own a wr450 2010.

 

During rebuild i found that there's two wires from neutral switch. One light blue that makes contact when in neutral, and the second one l/w making contact in third gear!

Who knows why?

 

I couldn't find anything in existing forums.

There is a neutral light mod you can do

Thanks for the quick reaction.

 

I know about the neutral light mod,  but why is there a switch for third gear? Has it something to do with enviremental testing in third gear in some countries?
