Aprilia Climber 280 mods

So i've got a 1985 Climber, just recommisioned after I bought it cheap. After a coil rewind it seems quite happy but I'm not really into trials, enduro more my kind of thing.

 

As it doesn't seem to be  worth much money, but is very nicely made and way lighter than an enduro bike i thought i might try it on some light trails.

 

I was thinking of lowering the compression to make it easier to start and less aggressive, and possibly lightening the flywheel.

 

Does anyone have an tips or advice on these to share ?
