yzf got very hot, melted plastic in oil screen, where did it come from?

06 yz450 got very hot, I have it completely apart for a full rebuild, i found ALOT of melted plastic in the oil pump metal screen,  everything is being rebuilt but for the life of me i have no idea where the plastic came from?  anyone know?

Weird... The only plastic I can think of in that motor would be timing chain guides but if your that far in it should be obvious. And I think those are black...
Maybe someone broke a piece of funnel off during oil change?
Luckily this thread will migrate to the yz forum where you'll get your answer....

There is a "white" plastic spring guide on the starter shaft assembly.  That's all I can think of at the moment.
