So I was installing a trail tech vapor on my Wr and the cables fell out of the back of the power cable and I dont know where I can get a replacement connector. Anyone know?IMG_20160816_195629430.jpg IMG_20160816_195642558.jpg IMG_20160816_195655905.jpg IMG_20160816_195731251.jpg

I have purchased a few connectors from the following site, which perfectly matched those on my WR ( and other Yamaha toys). This looks like it might be the right page for you: http://www.cycleterm...series-090.html

You will either have to change the connectors, or order a new harness from TrailTech.

If it's on the computer side, you will have to send it in if you want to remain with original connectors

If it's on the harness side, just change the connectors with something generic.

Googled the part number and the first one in the list has them for 75 cents each:

http://www.digikey.c...-1198-ND/608639

Shipping by first class US mail $3.40.      Quite a bit more than the part, but not brutal.   If you need it you need it

and you can have it in your hands in a couple days for $4.15

Is the plug actually broken?    If the wires pulled out of the plug check for broken plastic.  If the plug is OK it

may be that the metal on the pins that snap into the plug has deformed and doesn't lock tightly in which

case the new plug won't help much.

Thankfully Trail tech sent me a new one, and yes the plastic was broken where it holds the pins. Thanks anyways!
