I bought a non-running '98 YZ400F a while ago. I finally got around to cleaning/rebuilding the carb. It took a while to figure out how to start it but now i'm able to get it running on the 1st or 2nd kick.

Ran it up and down the driveway and it feels like it wants to run. I can't wait to get it on the trails but I want to make sure its dialed in before taking it out. Other than replacing the fluids is there anything else I need to do?

Make sure the air filter is up to snuff. You could grease all the linkage, swingarm and steering head or go give it a rip. Valves are another one of those things that you might check for proper clearences.
