2015 kx250f hard start and wont idle

Recommended Posts

Im having problems with my 2015 kx250f. About 2 months ago it wouldnt start unless the throttle was held wide and when it started it would ride fine but wouldnt idle too well but the problem was the intake valves. So i replaced those along with a new piston and it started and ran perfectly and got about 12 hours of riding time before last week at the track coming into a corner it died and wouldnt start back up pretty much doing the same thing as before but this time the more i rode it it seemed like it was losing power. So i stopped riding for the day and went i got home i tried to start it and it was breaking up and sputtering alot and would die as soon as i let go of the throttle. It was also blowing a lot of blue smoke. I noticed that it was starting to lose coolant so people said the head gasket was bad so i went ahead and replaced it. While i had the head off i looked at the valves and they seemed fine. And now i cant get it to start. timing is good, spark is good, valve clearance is within spec, i cleaned all the connections, tps is set perfectly, has good compression. I feel like i tried everything i could think of and just cant get the bike to run right. Does anybody have any ideas i could try?

In the beggining, what was wrong with the intake valves?

They were starting to like cup and go deeper into the head to the point where they would hit the cam so i had the seats re cut and put in steel valves because i heard they dont do that
