It appears riveted in place

The inside is flush to the pedal

The outside of the rivet is inside the pedal tip

It would be tough to grind off the inside, as it is hard to get to

Drill it out?

It appears it could either be drilled or ground off from the inside.

It looks like you could grind it a ways then punch it out also.

Just don't replace it with alligator teeth.

On my yz250 2 stroke I ground off the steel tip when it got all bashed in. Bought a replacement tip for a Tusk brake pedal and it works good. Been on there quite a while and still solid.
