KLR 650 Rear.master master cylinder connector

Hi all,

First time poster looking for some advice. Long story short, I accidentally dropped the KLR on its side when I was changing the rear tire, and the plastic connector that connects the rear brake fluid reservoir to the master cylinder cracked.

Now, all the fluid leaked out of the reservoir and cylinder, leaving my rear brakes useless. I bought a new connector, but do not know how to take out the old one. If anyone could give me some tips on changing the connector I'd really appreciate it.

If you look closely, there should be a snap ring holding it into the master cylinder. Remove that and the plastic elbow should come out with an oring on it too.
