Hey guys, i just purchased a yzf426 and was wondering what was this part, bolted on the cylinder , just under the carb hole. Its like a litlle shaft going inside? I will try to upload picture if i can.. Ty!!

Without looking it sounds like you are describing the cam chain tensioner.

The parta i'm talking about is offset maybe2" under the carb on the cylinder.. And there is a screw at the end.. I was wondering what is was because on my first ride the screw was missing and there was oil spitting out of there

Sounds like the timing chain tensioner.

It's the cam chain tensioner.  You need a very short M6x1.0 hex head bolt with a copper washer to match, about 10mm long.
