Is $3500 too much for this bike?

It is a 2006 with 6500 miles on it, owner said he drives it back and forth to work and all it needs is a rear tire.

He is asking $4000 and said $3500 is his bottom dollar

 

Wr's are hard to find around here, and most of them are all clapped out.

 

Other option is to dump 8k on a new one, I would rather put a down payment on a house...

I paid $3500 for my 09 with only 15 hours on it. Seems a little high to me.

Aluminum frames were introduced in 2007. You may want to check the year, as the bike in the pics is at least a 2007 model.

I paid 3500 for my 08', had original tires. I think it's in the ball park

I gave $3,800 for my '08 in 2011. That seems a little high for an 8 year old bike. The graphics look like what my '08 came with.
