Is this a 2006 yz450f or a 250f

Just traded for this bike, guy said it was a 06 yz450f but I'm not sure can anyone tell?????

I'm thinking 250F based on the size of the cylinder/head.  Does it have an oil tank on the front of the frame cradle?

Do you have the VIN from the frame? If so punch it into any online VIN decoder and the year/make/model will come up.

According to a few different vin decoders it is indeed an 06 yz450f

It's a 450.  I notice it has a manual cam chain adjuster.  That would be the first thing gone if it were mine.
