Giddy-up, I had so much fun last Saturday, gotta go again this Saturday. 12:00 noon worked out well with temps reaching near 50. This week it should be near 60 ?. I wouldn't expect but the most stubborn snow in the most shadded areas to be left. Wasn't even muddy last Saturday.

Here's where we'll meet... don't turn into the road leading directly to little sahara, drive straight on through. It'll turn into a dirt road... keep going. You'll go through one cattle guard. Keep going. You'll cross a second cattle guard. Here there'll be a fork in the road, take the left fork. About 200 yards further, you'll see a staging area on the left. Let's meet there.

For those who don't know me, I'm driving a white truck with a KTM in the back (or on a trailer). We generally ride from 50-60 miles. Everyone coming, chime in.

Eric, was that you we passed on our way out around 4:30, we had 2-WR's, a YZ & a KTM 125 on a trailer. If so, sorry we didn't stop. I don't think we had the energy to even say hello?

Stairs are very bad this morning!

I rode little sahara last fall for my first time and I also rode Cherry Creek. Where do you ride at cherry creek? When I was there, all I found were smooth gravel roads and a few atv trails. Maybe I just wasn't in the right spot, but it seemed lame to me compared to 5-mile and Hobble Creek.

Please help. I need to go riding but I don't know anywhere I can go that will be dry besides cherry creek or further south.

westrider03 - 5 mi and others will seem like child's play after you ride even a small portion of the cherry creek trail system. You really can ride all day and not see the same trail twice. Everything from easy to gnarly technical. Let me know if your coming, what your driving, and I can meet you somewhere easy (like the turn-in sign to the little sahara ranger startion) to find and you can follow me to our usual staging area.

Oh, you guys are killing me! :D :D :D I would go, but my bike is still in pieces because I have had no time to fix it. Hopefully I'll get it back together this weekend.

I feel your pain Chris! I don't have a sitter for the kiddies, so I

can't go. I don't think I could make it anyway, because the 440 is

way too rich. I gotta drag the little monsters with me to the bike

shop on Saturday morning to get a new pilot jet. With the stock 45,

I can turn the fuel screw all the way in and the bike starts and idles

great!

Even so, it's makes big power with the 440 and the FMF Q! ?

Last call... the weather looks good, Yahoo says 54 and mostly sunny. It's been over 60 all week long, so most all the snow should be good and melted. May still find some at the higher elevations.. but all in all it should be a great ride.

David, give me a call tonight at home 801-765-0899 and let me know if you're coming.

David - looks like if you get your bike together, it will only be you and me going. Dan, Cam, Danny, Steve, Chris, wakin, ... all can't make it tomorrow. I'll still ride if you can make it. Let me know.

Don't mean to rub it in but Eric and I had a great ride on Saturday. We rode about 40 miles in some great riding weather. The mountains at Cherry Creek still have lots of snow but that didn't stop us. We roosted through several miles of snow covered trail before we had to give in and turn around. Lower elevations were clear of snow. The only bad part about the ride was washing off all the mud caked in to every nook on the bike. ?
