09 SE should I change graphics?

Going through a 09 SE, should I keep the graphics?  Are they something special?  I would like to replace them but don't want to hurt the value of the bike.

Nice bike, looks low hour.

 

It depends, low hour/OEM/stock bikes do attract a certain type buyer looking for a lightly used bike.

 

At the same time if you keep everything in good shape and add some tasteful aftermarket goodies you definitely won't be losing value.

 

Do what YOU want because it is YOUR bike now.

depends are you keeping it or selling it somewhat soon? If they are in good shape buy all new plastics and put your graphics on the new plastic then you have the stock stuff for resale. I would rather buy a bike that still has its stock graphics than and 09 that has new graphics. Most people put they're own graphics on anyway. I personally wouldn't waste the stock graphics even if I were to keep it. It's a special edition bike why get rid of what makes it "special" lol. New plastics and graphics or stick with stock in my opinion

That is what I was thinking, too.  If I go with new plastic/graphics, I am going old school and go yellow plastic and black/yellow graphics like some of my older bikes had on the metal tanks.  Ya I am that old.

the yellow and black hurricane kits look awesome my cousin had the yellow special edition yzf450. Those old yamahas were awesome looking!

That's great for street use. Looks good. But take it off road once and I see brown graphics replacing those white ones.

Mines a '14, but I like the yellow and black too so I converted mine.  I think it looks great, but I am biased.  ?  This was my first time ever buying graphics for a dirt bike.
