Just curious what performance mods anyone has done on the FI wr450s?

What mods, what were you trying to accomplish, if mapping needed be adjusted for the mod, how it did it ride, and was it worth it?

Excluding the throttle screw, airbox mod, ecu swap and slip on, those are a given

Interested in this, just purchased a 2012 wr450f and being from Australia all of the base mods mentioned above are done, plus it has the GYTR pipe, got to tune it next and then I'm not sure where to go from there.

Re-map to match

From outside: (and much less expensive)

My 15' (12-15 models are the same) I've done the typical mods.

Removed the airbox snorkel that is accessed under the seat
GYTR ECU and throttle stop screw.
Power tuner with FMF map uploaded.
Bought a FI diagnostic tool and Properly adjusted the C/O
FMF megabomb header
FMF gytr muffler.
Full supermoto trim..

Pulls hard and runs great.

So I'm taking it you bought the whole GTYR package that included the ported head with with cams and high compression piston which cost another 2k$

Thanks for the input, but if you saw my second post, I said all those mods were a given.

I haven't, but others here have.  Just the GYTR head, for about $800

I did mine (carb'd) using local tuner porting and Dubach racing full exhaust, and Dyna ignition.
