Michigan Family Enduro Series - D14

I was thinking giving this a try to get my feet wet.  Has anyone done this series before?  If so, is it noob friendly?

From the one guy I know who does the Lawton one a lot...it sounds like it would be.

Did a couple of them, pretty laid back and lots of fun. Very easy to understand the format, timekeeping and everything.

They are specifically targeted for new riders. I have done a few on my mtb bike for training/fun.

They also use trail that can be technical but still fun. Go for it.

Yea, my brother in law (one I knew who rode it) told me the other day it wasnt on the schedule.

The guys that coordinate the Grapevine (Lawton) decided to take this year off. It's a fun race, and a good place for my soon to be 11 year old to get a taste of what woods riding has to offer. I hope they get it going again for next year.

The family series is perfect for new riders, good place to start.
