Yzf lighting do I need regulator?

Hi guys I've nearly finished my rebuild just 1 last thing last to do. LIGHTS. I've got the wrf stator and flywheel have done the pink wire mod now need to no before fitting it do I need a regulator in that system sumwer or is it just link it up n ready to go? Please help as we're going on 3 day trail ride and need lights by Monday. Thanks

Just came across this, probably too late.  I'm assuming you are lighting your 426.  I guess you have already done your homework as to if the WR stator and flywheel work on that bike, as I know on the later models they don't.  You will still need a regulator.  Best bet is to get a regulator/rectifier from either Baja Designs or Trailtech as that way it will be cleaner DC power and you will then later have the option of using LED or HID lighting, which will give you far bigger bang for each watt (assuming you add a small battery or capacitor later).
