02 426 spark plug socket question

So today, doing some work on my carb., while reinstalling it, I managed to pull the wire out of the spark plug socket AGAIN. however since this is the second time I have done it, I just can't see these being that fragile, so I got to looking at it, and it seems the wire just slides right back in/on the socket. Is this correct, or am I just hoping not to have to buy another one too much? Any help is appreciated. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.

Never mind. Looking at the schematic it shows its two different parts so it should just plug back in.
