they look a relatively good copy and there's been a couple of people on a different forum say they're not too bad/quite good so wondering if anyone here has used one, if not and i do get one, i'll use this thread to reply back with my own review/findings so it helps everyone else since I did a search and came up with nothing about these

Hey hmarginson, Those exhausts are fake and we do not support the production of knockoff product. FMF prides itself on being American made under one roof here in Southern California.

Nobody hates you Buddy ...  ?   a guy has to do what he can with his own options and funds man. We are all from different parts of the world and none of us can fully understand what the others options

A lot of R & D has gone into FMF pipes. That fake header looks like shit. Running this exhaust probably would not help the power at all, you might as well run an open header.

 

Not to mention FMF has done so much for the moto community, so why not support them instead to putting money in the pockets of someone who is using the FMF name and design illegally.

I think that is either a FMF clone, or its a pic of an FMF exhaust for another bike model.  I just pulled this FMF Megabomb pic off FMF's website for a 2015 Honda CRF250L.  It looks quite a bit different. The price is almost too good to be true for a new exhaust with a scratch on it.  For what its worth.

You are mental is you think that is a real FMF exhaust.

 

1) Just look at the "megabomb" header.... HA. That shit looks so wonky.

 

2) Look at the exhaust hanger, fmfs are actually welded on, they don't send an exhaust hanger like that to wrap around the can.

 

3) It's not an FMF exhaust. It's a copy. and a poor one at that.

that is a FMF model system and according to 1stMX.co.uk they sell a 4.1rct for the CRF250L

there is a possibility it is actually for the CRF250R though.

 

Because if you read the advert, the seller claims to be a Brit living in Thailand, which is where the unit will be shipped from.  FMF is made in the US, not Thailand.

Only one question remains, does it make power like a real FMF? :crazy:  I am thinking no.  But dynos don't lie.

how to make a forum hate you very quickly :D truth be told, im not blessed with endless funds and thus wanted something cheaper and easier to get, might have half a chance at getting something else, a full arrow system turns out to be only 320 ish but still more than what i can really afford, the guy who builds these fakes has sold a few and i know of several people who swear by them though i don't think i could take the hatred i've stirred up here ha ha
