All,

Been lurking for some time now trying to gain some insight on what I can do to improve my 2010 YZ450F. Little about me, 6'2, 210 lbs, like my bars taller for standing. I ride mostly sand dunes with a little bit of trail. I'm gonna have roughly 1.5k to throw at my bike and had some questions for you all

1. Exhaust or tuner? From what I've read the tuner seems to offer the best performance gains vs the exhaust. I've never owned an efi bike so remapping is something I've never dealt with

2. I have no clue how to setup my suspension the way I want. Is this something I want to pay a shop to do for me, or is it worth learning to do on my own if I'm willing to learn?

3. Anything else you think would benefit for a beginner on a 450. I need lots of seat time, I know. What would you do to make this bike setup for the dunes and occasional track/trail time?

As always thanks for the input
