found a good amount of shavings in oil filter

I had my shift shaft replaced as well as my oil changed come to find out there's alot of very small thin metal shavings in the oil filter plus there was this thin hair in there as well with the shavings mixed in with its weird the bike had a recent rebuild it's a 2004 yz 450fs but the bike runs great it only has about 35 minutes on it starts up in 3 kicks when warm one kick but how normarl is this and I can post pictures if someone tells me how on my phone of the oil filter thanks for reading

It is usually pretty normal to see some metal shavings in the oil filter cavity. With the bike being a wet clutch as well as the engine oil lubricating the transmission you will see some from the clutch and some aluminum from the gears in the transmission. If you search the forum you can find other threads about the same question and more details on it.
