Does your LED replacement headlight  for the 2015 WR450 require any modifications to the charging system?

Will this light work with the High/Low switch from your dual sport kit?

To get this light to work as a Low Beam and High Beam you will need our DSK Skene Dimmer Kit.    That will allow your desired brightness on low beam and full power on high beam.

When ordering, specify that it is for an XLPro.

To Baja designs. You guys need to build in an adjustment screw into the xl pro for the new wr 450s. It aims to high especially when your riding the back end squats and puts the beam way too high

I have the dual sport kit on my 15' wr450 and the XL pro, so this is plug and play and will let the high button on the handlebar light switch DS Kit work correctly?

I don't really care about the brightness settings just want the high/low to work.

Ya no matter how I angle the light and tighten the bolts down on the side, it only stays aimed for a min and vibrates its way back up blinding everyone if I'm on the street.

Thank You for your feedback. I will forward it over to our product development team and we will look into possibly making some changes.

Correct. This will allow your DSK High/Low beam switch to work and control the brightness of the light.

Is there any good write ups or instructions how to put this in for the new wr450? like how the dual sport kit instructions are super user friendly. the instructions apear to explain how to custom wire it in. This kit is all plug and play, but the black pigtail I cannot find anyplace where it would be plugged in at Im searching all over. And the white pigtail is already used to plug the xl pro in as the dual sport kit eliminates the factory headlight plug?? The only thing left is the red wire for power wich isn't an issue.

I have floated the ground on my 07 wr450f. Iv searched for answers and found none that helped me. I looked in my manual and no help.

I have the TT R/R it has 2 yellow wires and black, red. The bikes R/R plug had yellow, white, red and black.
Do i hook it up; yellow yellow, yellow white, black black and red red. Or do i hook it up; yellow yellow, yellow white, then run the black and red stright to battery?

Also do i have to do anything to the cdi wiring. From my understanding cdi is 12vdc and nothing is needed.

Thanks for the help in advance.

The best bet for you would be to call Trail Tech (TT) if you're going to be using their parts for a kit.

We don't have all of the information on how the kits are wired.  Sorry about that!

Thank You,

Bailey, Baja Designs
