just finished breaking down the carb for a clean and compressed blow out. Upon reassembly I forgot how the needle jet went in. Does it matter how it gets installed? If it matters, I think the bike ran fine after it was all together.

I think I got it. Manual says "smaller dia. into carb body". Now the real question. How can I tell without pulling apart if it's wrong and did I damage anything if it is backwards?
