Brake issues

I mistakenly bled my rear brake without the rubber diaphram on. Now it wont pump up. Whats the first thing to try?

the rubber diaphragm shouldn't be on when bleeding brakes...

 

don't listen to whoever told you that anymore. 

 

here is how to bleed your brakes, you don't need the check valve you can manually close the bleeder screw as you release  the lever and re open it as you compress the lever.
