Rim grease

Just wondering, what do you guys use for rim grease on your air filters?

Nothing, DT1 you don't need any best filter you can buy

 I don't use grease, just the same Maxima FFT that I use on the rest of the filter.  It will almost hold the filter on without a bolt.

I have used a small amount of water proof bearing grease for marine trailer bearings just around the sealing surface of the filter.  Does not seem to degrade the filter at all, and it really gives it a good solid seal to the air box.  Then for the filter oil I use Maxima FFT which is a very sticky oil.

​I just use the airfilter oil. Maxima FFT or PJ1...whichever I happen to have on hand.
