US vs European mapping

Just ran across this and wonder why they are so different from Yamaha America site. Is the base mapping the same on both side of the ocean?

The US and European ECUs are not the same part number. I would imagine the mapping would be different, but have no idea how much. The mufflers are also different part numbers, which is probably the reason for different ECUs.
