Need help with proper jetting on stock carb, '06 yz450f w/ a new big bore kit just added?
Shop did work, don't idle and back fires.

Put a brand new stock pilot jet in, adjust the fuel screw and run it. It shouldn't need much in the way of different jets.

No, not necessarily.  The bigger engine produces a stronger intake signal through the carb, and may even need to be leaner.  The backfiring and idle problems do sound like a pilot jet problem.  They clog very easily if they sit for any length of time.
