I have a 2002 yz426 and I got a little coolant leaking around the shaft that comes down from radiator and goes into the water pump. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ideas about what?  If you're talking about the steel 'Y' fitting that bolts to the water pump housing, there's an O-ring on it.  Drain the coolant and replace it.
