Higher than in neutral? Check your valve clearance and your pilot screw adjustment, check for air leaks.

Yes, higher than in neutral. Valve clearance is good, engine was rebuilt. No air leaks. Carburetor was cleaned recently, and pilot adjusted. Strange is that this happens only when in gear, and clutch pressed.

Not that strange.  In gear, the timing is different than in neutral because there's no signal from the neutral switch (in neutral, the CDI retards the timing and lowers the rev limit.

A significant speed difference generally happens when something causes a lean idle condition.

I will take apart my varb again, and look at pilot jet. Maybe it's clogged again :o

Thanks
