Anyone pick up a 450FX yet?

Recommended Posts

Another Sag question. If your static sag is less then the recommended. It says you need to go to a stiffer spring. My question is, if you go to a stiffer spring won't the free/static sag be less because the stiffer spring keeps the bike from dropping?

no, bc you will need less preload on the spring to set sag

I rode a YZ450FX today

It had been resprung, but otherwise stock.

It has plenty of power, and it revs much faster than the new WR. Don't know why.

Very good linear power, with plenty on tap, but not really agressive at partial throttle like a YZ.

Very good suspension, but the AT81 tires are terrible.

Hard to tell how it handled with those tires.....even with 13 front /10 rear psi.

Feels less compliant overall than older YZ's or WR's. Very 'solid' feel under your feet.

Suspension would need a re-valve for me and the rocky terrain I ride.

Did the new WR have the comp ECU in it?
