So I picked up a 2016 se 450 to get back on two wheels
I scrolled upon the fourm and see that there's a few trick to dialing in a new bike. As always.

Anyways I'm 6.2 @ 230 lbs.
If anyone has any help with spring rates I'd appreciate it (possibly some links to purchase them from somewhere cheap would help also.

And then I would be interested in a set of fat pegs that would lower my feet position also.

Thanks in advance.

I'll work on setting the sag but as for now I can see already I'm going to need a few parts.

Also I plan to use mine in the sand dunes and desert - woods. I haven't rode mx on a bike in over 10 years and don't really plan too again.

FastWay/ProMotoBillet makes the lowboy pegs for that bike.

RaceTech or Factory Connection website for picking spring rates

Fastway makes low boy pegs

Seat concepts and Guts racing make tall seats/kits

Hyde Racing makes a great composite skid plate

Cycra probend or Enduro Engineering hand guards

BRP for Damper mount and even combined bar risers

I have a 6.3kg spring I'll sell you for $50. Only used once, too stiff for my weight...

I checked the site. I didn't see a rate chart off weight so it's a bit confusing, although I did use my phone so that might be half the problem

Bike is sweet. Waiting on parts as of now.
Only complaint is these oem grips. Other than that I'm digging it.
