Real out the door price on the WR450f 2015

Recommended Posts

I plan to pick up a new 2015 wr450f shortly 3 semi close dealers quoting from 7500-8200 including the cash back from Yamaha. No one has any 14s near here so is this as good as it gets for prices?

$7500 OTD is very low. Lower than anything I have seen.

Remember to factor in the price of the GYTR kit  and tuner as part of your budget.

$6900.00 OTD

If I were looking for a new WR and this price was tossed out, I'd want to know the dealer that is actually going to go this low. This price would most likely be totally stock as well, and I don't think anyone keeps the WR stock.

Does your definition of out the door price include sales tax?  If so, what is the sales tax percentage included in $7500 price?  To me the only translate-able number is the total purchase price without sales tax as this can vary signficantly between cities/states.

I bought my '12 in August of '13 and it was $6k OTD, but Oregon has no sales tax so most of you have to factor that in. I had to walk away to get that price too. They called me about 30 minutes after I left and accepted my $6k cash offer.

If you aren't in a hurry, you should just wait until the '16s are released and get a much better deal on a '15.

Out the door : amount I write the check for.

Still doesn't answer the question as to how much of that out the door price you are quoting is made up of sale tax.  One person in the thread already indicated where he is from they don't charge sales tax.  You'll have to forgive me but I am not up on the various sales tax rates for South Dakota and you did not indicate which municipality you will be buying it from.

I think to get a good comparison from others around the country of pricing you need to compare the total price before sales tax.  And, of course I realize that sales tax is a real out of pocket cost that people need to take into account, I just think it has no use in comparing prices between markets.

I got my 2014 in early spring of that year for 8k out the door here on the East Coast. Small shop that really wanted the sale. This also included throttle stop screw and etc. I bought the ECU and tuner online later which I think is nice to have.
