2004 crf250r exhaust question

So I have a kawasaki klx 250 and I was wondering by any chance would a fmf slip in from a 04 crf 250 fit ? The only reason I'm asking is because he's selling it for 70$ and it's usually 400$

it won't be a direct fit, but if you know how to cut and weld you can make it fit.

is the pipe diameter the same or would I have to make an adapter ?

I don't know what the diameter of the KLX pipe is.  Your best bet is to ask the guy to measure the CRF pipe and then see how close it is to yours.  And if you have to make an adapter then thats what you will have to do.

Take the header and slip on to a machine shop and they can make you one. Fmf actually uses aluminum adapters for their full systems in many cases so you can buy just the header or slipon from them and it will fit regardless of which you buy first.

ok sounds good, I have a welding shop at school so I can always fab something up, I'm waiting until my step dad gets home to see what he thinks and I'll email the guy and see how close he lives to me and go from there
