I am trying to diagnose a problem on my son's DR200SE from 150 miles away.  He is only getting a 5 volt reading across the battery terminals when the bike is running.  For a 12V system shouldn't the charging system provide about 13.5 volts across the terminals when the bike is running even if the battery is no good?
