Anyone know if a 02 yz250f shock will fit on a 01wr426f and vice versa? How about a 01 WR426F shock and a 01 WR250F. This swap will save me a lot of money.

I read somewhere that the 02 shock is 5mm longer than the 01. My manual says that the 01 shock is 485.5mm long from hole to hole. Also, anyone have a 5.4kg spring they want to trade for a 5.0?

One thing to keep in mind is that it's likely the 250f and the WR426 shocks are sprung and valved differently. You may want to figure the cost of a spring and valve adjustment into the price of the 250f shock.
