New headlight options for 2015 WR450F? Bulb or complete unit?

I have done some research on changing my headlight on my WR. Was wondering from experience what would be my best option? Should I get a complete headlight unit or just switch out the bulb? I don't want to upgrade my charging system unless it's a must. I ride in the Sierras and just need more light then the stock produces. Could I get some suggestions from you that have already done this and what worked the best for you. Any pics would be great of improved light over stock.

I looked up the Cyclops Adventure Sports lights and they look great, glad I didn't order one yet. Let us know how it turns out I really like how much light this one puts out.

Ya man i just got it installed only have a day pic. Waiting for it to get dark but i think its gonna be great. To bright to stare into it thats for sure. Install was super easy.

Is the stock charging system going to keep up with the extra 20 watt demand? I'm sure it can, but it will slow your charging speed.

I have a 55W bulb and have never had to charge the battery.  The one in the picture draws 40W on high beam and 20W on low according to the manufacturer.

Sorry couldent get a pic of it at night but did a 30mile trip back from my friends house and all i can say is its freaking amazing. Low beams work great even on 55mph twisties. The high beam is nothing short of baja worthy. High beams is way to bright to roll around on at night of any cars are near. This unit is freaking awesome totally recommend it. Took 10 minutes to install!

Thanks for the pic, one more question. Do you need to install a high/low beam switch with that light? Or does it come with one??

I'm a super big fan of LED lighting after configuring different HID setups for my bikes the last 9 years.  I have a desert setup for my '12 WR that is a 60w LED unit that is amazing, but have recently tried out swapping in just an LED bulb into the stock housing.  I've ordered all of my stuff from China and it has all been pretty much bulletproof.  The current bulb I run is just 30 watts, but does a great job in the stock housing.  The stock housing will give you kind of a driving/flood pattern and you won't be able to change that with just a bulb, but it works really well for me in the desert as I'm usually not doing a lot of top speed riding.  Both my low beam and high beam are run together at the same time.  The first link is what I am currently using and the 2nd link is the 40w bulb I'll be trying next.  There is no stator rewiring for the 2012+ WR's as they have plenty of power stock.

As long as you already have a high low switch it will work. I had mine converted to street legal. But im pretty sure it had a switch factory.
