06 case half fir 07 motor

Hi I have 2007 450 with a broken case half around the clutch actuator I also have a blown up 2006 with the case half that off the 06 fit on the 07 motor?

Yes and no.  The crankcases are machined as a matched pair, and the bearing final alignment doweling is done with both halves on the same machine together so the alignment is perfect.  Two case halves from different sets should not ever be mixed.

 

But people do it sometimes, and Yamaha's work is usually close enough that you can get away with it.  The '06 and '07 are essentially identical, and will fit together.  I don't advise it.  If you can, just use the complete '06 crankcase set.
