Dropped a valve in the 09 yz450f a while back and looking for a new cylinder head. Started browsing for used ones and a guy offered up one from a 08 wr450f thinking that they're essentially the same part. Is there anybody who knows anything about this?

Wait for a YZ head. The ports in the WR head aren't as good, and you'll have to block off the port where the WR air injection system connects.  It will fit otherwise.
