Yz400f oil additives

Can I add oil additives to a yz400f or will it be bad for it

No.  Good, top tier oils don't need any, for one thing, and for another, most of them do more bad stuff than good.  A lot of them are metallic (metals like calcium) and that can end up embedded in the carbon on the piston crown, which can produce "hot spots" that can pre-ignite the fuel.  Any kind of friction reducers have the potential to cause clutch problems.
