Four days of riding and I killed the YAMAHA skidplate.

Any suggestions for a sturdy PLASTIC skid plate?

Is the YAMAH plate ok and I just had bad luck?  It's only 50$, thats sensibel tome

I'd like to steer clear of aluminum plate because of noise.

Would a '07 - '11 WR450F skid plate (off ebay) fit a 2012 WR450F frame?

I have a TMD  and it seems to be holding up nice. I broke the stock one in 2 rides.

I don't recommend the TMD, as it does not cover the frame rails far enough back

Moose racing makes a pretty good one that three of our group are using.

I'd have to agree with you on that most of the skid don't cover far enough back or the frame rails.
